How to measure the curtain size

Curtain measurement is the most important when you buy a curtain. Accurate measurements are required to determine your order size.
How to measure the size of the curtain is very easy! Find the perfect size for your window because it's a curtain that you'll use for years.

STEP 1Measure the width

The width of the curtain is measured by the width of the rail

※Be sure to install the curtain rail before measuring the size.

Width is measured from the center of the fixed runner
Width is measured from the base of the decorative cap

How to calculate the curtain width size

※ The standard width of the curtain is rail width x 1.05, but if you want a finish that fits the window size, we recommend rail width ×1.03.The reason why the finish has a little more space than the rail width is to prevent gaps and light leakage when it is closed with center-open curtains, so please specify the width size of the curtain according to your use and preference.

STEP 2Measure the length

For terrace windows
Finishing 1 cm shorter than under the floor will prevent dust from getting on the hem of the curtain.
For tall skirted windows
When placing furniture under the window, adjust the length of the curtain to the height of the furniture to make the curtain beautiful.

When installing curtains in bay windows or window frames

Finishing it 1 cm shorter than the size inside the window frame will prevent dust from getting on the hem of the curtain.

※The calculation method of the curtain length size is the same regardless of the specifications of the drape curtain (Pinch Pleat Styles, flat).

STEP 3Decide the type of hook

Used for decorative rails and curtain boxes.
It is used when you want to hide the rail such as a functional rail.
